uma Cosmetics

Vor einigen Jahren, als ich noch keinen blassen Schimmer von Make Up  hatte und gerade damit anfing, mich dafür zu interessieren, da stiess ich im Karstadt auf die Theke von uma cosmetics. Damals hab ich da ziemlich zugeschlagen und alles mitgenommen, was auch nur annähernd funkelte. Eines Tages war die Theke weg und die Enttäuschung gross. Irgendwie war ich einfach davon ausgegangen, dass es diese Marke nun nicht mehr gibt. Falsch gedacht, naja eine kleine Internet Recherche hätte mir da wohl die Augen öffnen können, aber das waren ja andere Zeiten. Umso überraschter war ich, als ich vor einigen Wochen ein E-Mail von uma cosmetics in meinem Postfach entdeckte...
Die Mono Eyeshadows in "30 grey linings", "09 will & grey" und "19 northpark" sind bis auf ersteres akzeptable pigmentiert, sehr weich und lassen sich ganz leicht verblenden. Anfangs wirken sie etwas bröselig, was aber mit dem Blend-Prozess wieder verschwindet.

A few years ago, before I even knew something about make-up, I discovered this brand called uma cosmetics at the Karstadt store. Of course I've been the one who just bought everything that sparkled. One day the uma bar disappeared and my disappointment was huge. I don't know why but I thought that the brand did not exist enymore. Wrong, well Google would have known that but that was a diferent time. So I was even more surprised when I got  an E-Mail from them a few weeks ago...
The Mono Eyeshadows "30 grey linings", "09 will & grey" und "19 northpark" have an acceptable pigmentation with exception of the first one. They are incredibly buttery and easy to blend. First you'll think that the texture is a bit chunky but that's nothing the blending process can't fix.

 

Der "All in 1" Mascara ist aus meiner Sicht optimal fürs Trennen der oberen Wimpern geeignet. Besonders für das Erreichen der inneren Augenwinkel. Für die Unteren benutzt ihr da aber lieber etwas anderes, da klappt das ganze nicht wie geschmiert. Die Eyeshadow Base ist für meinen Geschmack etwas zu dunkel, soll aber dafür wasserfest sein und 24h halten. Auf der Hand stimmt das, auf dem Lied habe ich diese zwei Eigenschafte jedoch noch nicht getestet. Die DD Cream ist aber mein Top-Favorit und perfekt für einen hellen Hauttypen wie mich. Nach gründlichem Einarbeiten hinterlässt sie einen strahlenden und vor allen Dingen ebenmässigen Teint.

This "All in 1" mascara seems to be a good product to seperate the upper lashes and to reach the inner corners of your eyes. But for the lower lashes it simply did not work for me at all.
The eyeshadow base was a bit to dark if you ask me. It is supposed to be waterresistant (it worked on my hand yay) and to last you 24 hours. Well I did not test both aspects on my lid yet, but I'm curious.
The DD Cream is one of my favourites because it matches my pale skin tone. After blending it in it makes my skin look glowy and healthy.

 Ich bin kein grosse Fan diese Fixing Compact Powders, einfach weil ich das Gefühl habe, dass es nix her gibt: weder Produkt noch einen fixierenden Effekt. Anders sieht es da bei diesem wunderschönen weinroten Wangenrouge aus "03 beautiful burgundy". Der ist nämlich extremst gut pigmentiert und enthält einen leicht goldenen Unterton und sieht auf der Haut einfach nur fantastisch aus. Sehr seidig.

I'm not a huge fan of this Fixing Compact Powder just because it did not work for me: the product did not show off on my b rush and there was no fixing effects. Very different to this gorgeous deep red blush called "03 beautiful burgundy". It is extremely good pigmented, has a golden undertone to it and looks just fabulous on the skin. Very silky.

Auch diese kleine handliche Colour Correcting Palette habe ich getestet. Ein riesen Fan bin ich von dem weiss perligen Highlighter unten rechts, welchen ich nun immer unter meiner Foundation auftrage. Dieser ist, von allen vieren, auch die cremigste Farbe. Die restlichen drei Korrektur-Töne sind mehr für ein natürliches Finish zu gebrauchen, also nix für ein Full Coverage Look.

I also tested this handy little colour correcting palette and I am a huuuge fan of the white pearly highlighter which I apply underneath my foundation. This is, out of the four, the most creamy one. The other three correctors are more for a natural finish than for a full coverage type of thing.

Lasst euch vom Foto nicht täuschen. Die Farbe des Lippenstiftes ist ein tiefes Bordeaux mit seidig feste Textur. Die Farbabgabe ist super sowie das Tragegefühl. Einzig die Form ist nicht von Vorteil für ein ebenmässiges Auftragen.

Don't let you fool by the picture. The actual shade of this lipstick is a deep dark bordeaux with a silky firm texture. The pigmentation is perfect as well as the feeling it leaves on your lips. The only thing is that the shape does not help you to apply it evenly.
