Essence Advent Calendar 2014

Hallo meine Schneeelfen! Endlich schneit es und passend zum kuschligen Wetter, habe ich es endlich geschafft, die zauberhaften Schätze meines Essence Adventskalenders 2014 zu offenbaren :) Da ich einiges davon schon zuvor testen durfte, stelle ich euch nur die Produkte vor, die neu für mich waren. Natürlich verlinke ich am Ende des Posts noch alle Reviews, zu den Zuckerstücken, die ich bereits vor dem Adventskalender ausprobiert habe.

Heyho my dear snow elves! Finally some snow showed up and perfectly for this cozy weather I managed to show you my charming treasures from the Essence Advent Calendar 2014 :) As I have already tested most of the stuff even before I received the calendar, I will just review the products that are new to me. Of course I will leave the links to the sweeties I already posted a few posts ago, so you'll have my opinion on everything.

Nailpolishes

The Satin in "189 new york city call" hat ein matt-seidiges Finish in toller Crème Nuance und erinnert mich irgendiwe an Cashmere. Der "better than gel nails" der studio nails Reihe lässt die Nägel erstaundlicherweise wirklich wie welche aus Gel wirken. Mit  zwei Schichten seid ihr super bedient. Der Thermo Nagellack in der Farbe "02 play it cool" ist ein zuckersüsses deckendes Mint und ändert wirklich, je nach Temperatur die die Farbe. Besonders in den kalten Wintertagen ein willkommenes Spielzeug auf meinen Nägeln. 

The Satin in "189 new york city call" has a matt-silky finish to its great creamy shade and reminds me somehow of cashmere. The "better than gel nails" of the studio nails collection really gives you the look of having some gel nails on. If you go for two coats you'll be totally fine. The Thermo Polish in the shade "02 play it cool" is a sweet covering mint which actually changes its color depending on the temperature. Especially now in those cold winter days this is a welcome change for my nails.

 Lipgloss & Lipstick

 Der Effekt Lipgloss in "C01 frosty flakes" mach seinem Namen (leider) alle Ehre. Für meinen Geschmack ein wenig zu grobe Glitz-Flöckchen, di man auf den Lippen unangenehmt gut spürt. Der XXL Shine Gloss in "31 metal shine" hingegen ist super samtig. Und zu guter Letzt gabs noch einen Glossy Lipbalm  in "raspberry sorbet" ist besonders handlich und auch die Farbe ist einfach lecker! 

The Effect Lipgloss in "C01 frosty flakes" (sadly) matches its name. There are too chunky glitter flakes in it, which you can totally feel on your lips and that's not to my taste. The XXL Shine Gloss in "31 metal shine" however is so soft and just perfect. To top it off I also got a Glossy Lipbalm in "raspberry sorbet" which seems to be very handy and the color just looks so yummy!

Concealer & Powder

Das "all about matt!" Puder mattiert & fixiert zuverlässig die T-Zone, nachpudern schadet für längere Effekte aber nie ;)

The "all about matt!" powder mattifies and sets the T-zone reliably, but touching up won't upset you ;)

Lip- & Eyeliner

Endlich gibts einen tollen klarsichigen Lipliner von Essence (13 transparent). Hab lange drauf gewartet! Auch der langanhaltende Effect Kajal in "05 metal phantom" überzeugt mit starker Pigmentierung und schimmerndem Charme.

Finally there is a great transparent lipliner by Essence (13 transparent). I was waiting for a looooong time! And as well the longlasting Effect Eye Pencil in "05 metal phantom" did not disappoint concerning the pigmenation and let's be honest: who could resist its glittery charm?

Skincare & Co.

Auch der SOS spot killer war mit von der Partie. Geholfen hat er mir leider nur zaghaft. Die mattierende Gesichtscrème hingegen war mir eine wirklich tolle Hautpflege: toller Duft und wirklich mild zur Haut! Und damit nicht nur die Haut strahlt, sondern auch die kalten Winterfüsschen und Hände versorgt sind, gabs noch eine passende Bürste dafür gefolgt von einem ultraweichen Kabuki Brush für meine durchfrohrenen Wangen.

As well the SOS spot killer had to join the party. I have to admit: it didn't really help me out gettin rid of the mountains in my face. But instead I really fell in love with this mattifying face cream and its delicious scent! They also thought of our cold winter toes and hands: a nail scrubber I still have to try! And to warm up the face: a super cute kabuki brush for my iced cheeks.

Lashes & Jewelry 

Passend für Silvester gabs extravagant funkelnde Klebewimpern, auf die ich mich ganz besonders freue. Und auch eine Lashprincess-Kette fand ihren Weg aus dem 24ten Törchen raus in mein Zimmer.

Matching the upcoming new years eve, I found those extravagant sparkeling falsies paired with a lash princess themed necklace!

 Endlich, endlich haben die Ferien begonnen und meine Lernphase geht nun in die zweite unerbittliche Runde. Deswegen konnte ich in den vergangenen Tagen leider auch nicht wirklich fleissig bloggen. Trotzdem haben sich da einige Produkte angehäuft, die ich mir in der Zeit zugelegt habe. Aus der Essence Trend Edition "Like an unforgettable kiss" habe ich mir einen kleinen kompakten Pinsel gekauft, der leicht abgeschrägt ist und ich muss sagen, ich hab ihn sofort ins Herz geschlossen ;)

Finally, finally the holidays began and I need to study for another huge amount of exams waiting for me (yaaay!). That's why I wasn't able to blog. But anyways I'm back with  a lot of products I got recently: I got myself a lovely brush from the trend edition "like an unforgettable kiss" by essence. This cutie is so small and handy and angled and I took it to my heart immediately ;)

Auch aus dieser Kollektion ist der pfirsichfarbene Lippenstift, der eher pflegend transparent ist als deckend, aber genau das wollt eich auch: perfekt für den Alltag!

From the same collection I got this apricot lipstick, which is more of a sheer finish with a hint of color: perfect for an everyday lip care!

 

Seit dem Blogger Event von Essence im August, bin ich noch nicht dazu gekommen, diese zwei hübschen Lipliner zu testen. Sie tragen den Namen 15 "honey berry" und 14 "femme fatale" (rot). Die Textur ist der wahnsinn: weich und leicht zu handhaben. Das Auftragen ist ein Kinderspiel und auch die Pigmentierung der Hammer! Besonder empfehlenswert für diejenigen, die gerne mit Ombrelips experimentieren! 

Ebenfalls getestet habe ich den beerenfarbenen Lipgloss der Reihe XXXL shine in der Farbe 33 "fabulous fuchsia". Die Farbe gefällt mir super gut, aber leider finde ich, dass der Gloss gerade durch die starke Pigmentierung sehr auffläig über die Lippenfältchen ausäuft.

I discovered two lipliners which I never tested and which I received on the Blogger Event in Munich from Essence. They're calles 15 "honey berry" and 14 "femme fatale (red). The texture is incredible: very smooth and easy to handle. The application is sooo easy and the pigmentation the bomb.com! I recommend them especially to all those girls, who love to experiment with ombre lips!

I also tested a lipgloss from their XXXL shine collection in the shade 33 "fabulous fuchsia". I really like the color but the problem is, that because of its high pigmentation the gloss will run out of your lipline.

 

Fall Favourites

Da mein lieblings Monat, der Oktober, nun fast vorüber ist, verspürte ich den Drang meinen ersten "Monats- / Herbst Favoriten Post" zu schreiben. Zu diesen Favoriten gehört meine neuste und heiss geliebte Errungenschaft von M.A.C: der Lippenstift "Diva" in einem sehr dunklen, bräunlichen und matten Rot. Ein weiteres Lippenprodukt ist der von Dior in der Farbe "Decadent Plum", welches mit leichtem Schimmer versetzt ist, aber nichts zu auffälliges :) Ich habe mir auch zwei Wangenrouge ausgesucht von Essence. Hierzu gehört ein eher dünklerer in der Farbe "70 kissable" und ein hellerer orangefarbiger in "80 autumn peach". Besonders ersterer passt hervorragend zum M.A.C Lippenstift. Und um meine Liste zu vervollständigen: mein erster nude-farbener und stark pigmentierter Lipgloss von Manhattan in der Nuance "70 a nude kiss"! 

As my favourite month October passes away I felt like doing my first "monthly / fall  favourites". A new purchase I truly love is my new lipstick called "Diva" by M.A.C. Just a really deep dark and brownish matte red. Another gorgeous lipstick I like is the one by Dior in the shade "Decadent Plum". Slightly shimmery, but nothing crazy :) I also picked two new blushes by Essence: a dark one in "70 kissable" and a brighter orange one in "80 autumn peach". Especially the "kissable" goes very well with the lipstick by M.A.C. And to finish my list: my very first nude and strongly pigmented lipgloss by Manhatten in "70 a nude kiss"!

All Time Favourites

Nach meine Sommer Favoriten Post, dachte ich es wäre angebracht auch einen allgemein über meine Allzeit Favoriten zu schreiben. Fangen wir gleich mal mit meinem Augenbrauenstift von M.A.C an, der die perfekte Farbe für mich ist: Ich habe schon einige getestet und war nie ganz zufireden, da ich immer das Gefühl hatte, dass alle einen Hauch Rot beinhaltet haben. Dieser heisst "Fling" und ist genau das, wonach ich gesucht habe. Einziges Problem: Da man die Miene rausdrehen muss und nicht anspitzt, muss man sie einige male an einem Nastuch anflachen um danach eine klare Linie auf den Brauen zu kreieren. Meiner Meinung nach lohnt sich das aber ;)

After my summer faves post I decided to do one on my all time favourites as I had repurchased them a few days ago. And here we go: I tried out a few eyebrow pencils, but holy moly this one by M.A.C is exactly my color. It seemed to me that, the old ones had all a bit a hint of red in it. This new one by called "Fling" works perfectly. BUT: As you can't shape it like a usual pencil you have to flat out the tip by  drawing strokes on a hanky to get an edge to create harsh lines on your brow. I think it's worth it ;)

Mein absolute liebste Lippenstift: "Flat Out Fabulous" in Retro Matte von M.A.C. Er ist unglaublich pigmentiert und hat eine wunderschöne helle pink-lilane Farbe! Ich liebe ihn!

My absolute favourite lipstick of all: "Flat Out Fabulous" in Retro Matte by M.A.C. It is unbelievably pigmented and such a gorgeous bright pinkish-lilac colour! Just love it!

Der beste Mascara den ich je getestet habe! Trennt jede einzelne Wimper, gibt ihnen Volumen und ist super aufbaufähig! Leider hat er auch einen stolzen Preis von ca. 25 Euro!

The best mascara I've ever tried! Seperates your lashes, give volume and is super buildable!  Sadly it is a bit pricy: 25 Euro!

Super praktisch für die Ferien: leere M.A.C  Pröbchen -Behälter um z.B. das Make-Up abzupumpen, denn seien wir mal ehrlich: wer will schon das ganze Fläschen mitschleppen? Die habe ich auf Nachfrage gratis bekommen, aber natürlich habe ich auch etwas gekauft :)

Super handy for holidays: empty M.A.C samples container to fill up you foundation: to be honest, who want's to carry around a full bottle of foundation? I got them for free as I asked, but of course I bought some stuff :)

Maybelline Stripped Nudes

Wie ihr auf den Bildern unschwer erkennen könnt, habe ich mir aus dem Drogeriemarkt zwei Lippenstifte gegönnt, denen ich einfach nicht widerstehen konnte. Der erste, gehört zur neuen Stripped Nudes Serie von Maybelline und hat mich leider leider überhaupt nicht überzeugt. Ich weiss nicht, ob es an der Farbe liegt, denn ich habe die hellste von allen erworben: "Sultry Sand" 710. Ich fand sie sah auf meiner Hand wunderschön aus, jedoch musste ich feststellen, dass sie auf meinen Lippen viel zu hell ist, sich in den Lippenfältchen absetzt und auch das regelmässige Auftragen, erweist sich irgendwie schwer aufgrund der sehr cremigen Textur. Ich habe aber von vielen gehört, dass sie die selbe Erfahrung mit genau diesem Farbton gemacht haben, die anderen jedoch prima waren. Also falls ihr von Natur aus stark pigmentierte Lippen und nicht gerade ein Lippenpeeling hinter euch habt, dann würde ich euch diese Farbe nicht empfehlen. Wie gesagt: ich kann nur für diesen einen Farbton sprechen, von den anderen müsst ihr euch selbst überzeugen ;)

 Hat jemand vielleicht schon Erfahrung mit ihnen gesammelt?

Maybelline Stripped Nudes

As you can see I couldn't resist and bought two lipsticks in the drugstore. The first ist one of the new Stripped Nudes Collection by Maybelline. Unfortunately it couldn't convince me. Maybe its because of the shade, as I got the lightest color of all:"Sultry Sand" 710. I thought that the swatch looked so pretty on my hand, but I had to realize, that it was a way too light for my lips and the color just creased. Also the even application was not possible because of the creamy consistency. I heard of others, that they had the same struggles with exactly this shade and that the other colors were pretty good. To sum up: if you have a natural strong lip pigmentation and no lip peeling you just did before, you really shouldn't go for this lipstick. As I said: I have only tried this specific tone, so you have to try the others by yourself ;)

Has anybody tried them yet?

 p2 Secret Gloss Lipstick

Dieser Lippenstift "Secret Sensation" 30 verleiht den Lippen einen leichten neon-koralligen Ton und fühlt sich super leicht an und ist meiner Meinung nach perfekt für einen heissen Sommertag! Ich würde es mehr als einen Lippenstift einstufen, als einen Gloss, aber einen leichten Glanz verleiht er euch allemal. Ich war ein wenig enttäuscht, da ich eine stärkere Pigmentierung erwartet hatte, aber ich finde ihn auch so super schön! Definitiv eine super schöne Sommerfarbe, besonders mit ein wenig Bräune!

p2 Secret Gloss Lipstick

This lipstick "Secret Sensation" 30 gives your lips a slight neon-coral shade, feels super light and is in my opinion perfect for a hot summer day! I'd classify it rather as a lipstick as a gloss, but eventhough you get a slight glossy effect. I have to admit that I've been disappointed by the pigmentation as I was expecting it to be stronger, but I still like it! Definitely a super gorgeous summer shade, especially with a little bit of tan!

It's a pink life

Es ist wieder einmal Zeit, meine pinke Welt mit euch zu teilen! Dazu habe ich drei Produkte ausgesucht, die mir den Alltag versüssen. Auf meine Lippen hat es der Catrice Lippenstift in der Farbe 250  "About Pink" geschafft. Das matte Finish sieht super hübsch aus und hält lange. Auch für die sportlichen Aktivitäten bleibt der pinke touch nicht aus: Iced Strawberry Dream für die Dusche nach dem Training duftet nicht nur gut sondern ist aufgrund seines kleinen Formats super für das Fitnesscenter oder um zu reisen! Und zu guter Letzt ist da noch ein Duftspray, den ich im H&M einfach nicht liegen lassen konnte. Der Body Splash Spray mit dem Namen "Cashmere" erinnert mich an das frische und wohlig warme Gefühl, das man nach einer warmen Dusche hat!

It's time to share my pink life with you guys! For this purpose I chose three products, which recently  sweetened my everday life. For my lips I used the lipstick by Catrice in the shade 250 "About Pink". It has a pretty matte finish and lasts for a long time. There's also something pink about sportive activities: the Iced Strawberry Dream for a shower after training smells so good. It's also super handy for the gym or for vacation because of its pocket size! Last but not least, there's a body spray, which I couldn't leave behind in the H&M. This Body Splash Spray with the name "Cashmere" reminds me of the fresh and cozy feeling you get after a warm long shower!

Dior Haul - Part I

Endlich habe ich es geschaft meine Dior Produkte, die ich bekommen habe zu fotografieren. Ich habe mich aber entschieden die kleinen Geschenke in zwei Teile aufzusplitten ;) Hier wäre nun Teil 1:) Zuerst wäre da mal ein wunderschöner Lippenstifft der Dior Addict Kollektion in der Farbe "Decadent plum" 993. Es ist eine sehr dunkle (dunkler als auf dem Bild erkennbar), violette Farbe.Die Konsitenz ist suuuper cremig und der Farbton sehr pigmentiert! Das zweite Produkt: Diorskin Nude - Natural Glow Creme-Gel Makeup! Dieses Makeup ist super verblendbar und beinhaltet nebst des super edlen Verpackungsdesigns einen Spiegel und einen kleine Schwamm! Ich bin so oder so ein riesen Fan der Dior-Verpackungen! Lasst es mich wissen, falls ihr meine Meinung teilt ;)

Finally I managed to take pictures of my Dior products I recieved. I decided to show you my goodies in two parts. So here is part 1 :) First there is this super gorgeous lipstick from their Dior Addict Collection in the color "Decadent plum" 993. It's a really dark (darker than it seems on this pictures) kind of violet. The consistency sooo creamy and and the shade really pigmented! Second product to show you:  Diorskin Nude - Natural Glow Creme-Gel Makeup! This one is super blendable and contains beside its super classy packaging design a mirror and a tiny little sponge! I'm either way a huge fan of the Dior packagings! Let me know if you're too ;)

 Heute würde ich euch das rosarote Pendant des "Blush up! Powder Blushs" 10 heat wave, das ich euch bereits vorgestellt habe,zeigen. :) Es trägt den Namen 10 pinky flow und bietet mit seinem Farbverlauf ein super Spektrum an rosaroten Blush-Tönen.
