Hallo meine Schneeelfen! Endlich schneit es und passend zum kuschligen Wetter, habe ich es endlich geschafft, die zauberhaften Schätze meines Essence Adventskalenders 2014 zu offenbaren :) Da ich einiges davon schon zuvor testen durfte, stelle ich euch nur die Produkte vor, die neu für mich waren. Natürlich verlinke ich am Ende des Posts noch alle Reviews, zu den Zuckerstücken, die ich bereits vor dem Adventskalender ausprobiert habe.
Heyho my dear snow elves! Finally some snow showed up and perfectly for this cozy weather I managed to show you my charming treasures from the Essence Advent Calendar 2014 :) As I have already tested most of the stuff even before I received the calendar, I will just review the products that are new to me. Of course I will leave the links to the sweeties I already posted a few posts ago, so you'll have my opinion on everything.
Nailpolishes
The Satin in "189 new york city call" hat ein matt-seidiges Finish in toller Crème Nuance und erinnert mich irgendiwe an Cashmere. Der "better than gel nails" der studio nails Reihe lässt die Nägel erstaundlicherweise wirklich wie welche aus Gel wirken. Mit zwei Schichten seid ihr super bedient. Der Thermo Nagellack in der Farbe "02 play it cool" ist ein zuckersüsses deckendes Mint und ändert wirklich, je nach Temperatur die die Farbe. Besonders in den kalten Wintertagen ein willkommenes Spielzeug auf meinen Nägeln.
The Satin in "189 new york city call" has a matt-silky finish to its great creamy shade and reminds me somehow of cashmere. The "better than gel nails" of the studio nails collection really gives you the look of having some gel nails on. If you go for two coats you'll be totally fine. The Thermo Polish in the shade "02 play it cool" is a sweet covering mint which actually changes its color depending on the temperature. Especially now in those cold winter days this is a welcome change for my nails.
Lipgloss & Lipstick
Der Effekt Lipgloss in "C01 frosty flakes" mach seinem Namen (leider) alle Ehre. Für meinen Geschmack ein wenig zu grobe Glitz-Flöckchen, di man auf den Lippen unangenehmt gut spürt. Der XXL Shine Gloss in "31 metal shine" hingegen ist super samtig. Und zu guter Letzt gabs noch einen Glossy Lipbalm in "raspberry sorbet" ist besonders handlich und auch die Farbe ist einfach lecker!
The Effect Lipgloss in "C01 frosty flakes" (sadly) matches its name. There are too chunky glitter flakes in it, which you can totally feel on your lips and that's not to my taste. The XXL Shine Gloss in "31 metal shine" however is so soft and just perfect. To top it off I also got a Glossy Lipbalm in "raspberry sorbet" which seems to be very handy and the color just looks so yummy!
Concealer & Powder
Das "all about matt!" Puder mattiert & fixiert zuverlässig die T-Zone, nachpudern schadet für längere Effekte aber nie ;)
The "all about matt!" powder mattifies and sets the T-zone reliably, but touching up won't upset you ;)
Lip- & Eyeliner
Endlich gibts einen tollen klarsichigen Lipliner von Essence (13 transparent). Hab lange drauf gewartet! Auch der langanhaltende Effect Kajal in "05 metal phantom" überzeugt mit starker Pigmentierung und schimmerndem Charme.
Finally there is a great transparent lipliner by Essence (13 transparent). I was waiting for a looooong time! And as well the longlasting Effect Eye Pencil in "05 metal phantom" did not disappoint concerning the pigmenation and let's be honest: who could resist its glittery charm?
Skincare & Co.
Auch der SOS spot killer war mit von der Partie. Geholfen hat er mir leider nur zaghaft. Die mattierende Gesichtscrème hingegen war mir eine wirklich tolle Hautpflege: toller Duft und wirklich mild zur Haut! Und damit nicht nur die Haut strahlt, sondern auch die kalten Winterfüsschen und Hände versorgt sind, gabs noch eine passende Bürste dafür gefolgt von einem ultraweichen Kabuki Brush für meine durchfrohrenen Wangen.
As well the SOS spot killer had to join the party. I have to admit: it didn't really help me out gettin rid of the mountains in my face. But instead I really fell in love with this mattifying face cream and its delicious scent! They also thought of our cold winter toes and hands: a nail scrubber I still have to try! And to warm up the face: a super cute kabuki brush for my iced cheeks.
Lashes & Jewelry
Passend für Silvester gabs extravagant funkelnde Klebewimpern, auf die ich mich ganz besonders freue. Und auch eine Lashprincess-Kette fand ihren Weg aus dem 24ten Törchen raus in mein Zimmer.
Matching the upcoming new years eve, I found those extravagant sparkeling falsies paired with a lash princess themed necklace!
